The CA168-M is a high profile newly upgraded new generation of smart electricity meter that combines high precision metrology along with non-wired communication and contractual methodology. It is a single phaes two wires electric Watt-hour meter that works in both prepayment and credit mode. The meter changes the payment mode by the command transmitted from back-end server. Utility can choose from various contractual billing control for consumers.

The CA168-M operates with a plug-in module for data collection and communications . This modular design provides utility free choice of PLC/RF/GPRS/3G and 4G LTE cellular data networks according to local infrastructure conditions, which greatly reduces their operational cost. Upgrade and maintenance will also become economic by replacing the modules only instead of the entire meter.
